Are you close to the beach?
Yes, we are situated 150m above sea level on the edge of the Indian Ocean on the
Isibubulungu Coast. We have direct access to the beach from our private beach path.

How many rooms do you have?
The African Peninsula Guest House offers 14 suites. (13 sea facing).
We have two room types: Standard and Deluxe.
10 x Deluxe Suites (1,2,3,4,5,6,11,12,13 & 14)
4 x Standard Suites (7,8,9 & 10 )
What is the difference between Standard Suites & Deluxe Suites?
Deluxe Suites are slightly larger, better positioned rooms with a spa bath or Jacuzzi.
What do I need to bring?
If you are coming on holiday then come equipped for the beach (Hat, sunscreen 30+ factor or higher, light clothing, beach towel, slopps (flip flops), sunglasses.

- Suites 1,5,6,11,12 & 14 are fitted with spa baths.
- Suites 3,5,6, 9 & 13 have outdoor patios
- Suites 4, 8, 10, 12 & 14 have wooden decks
- Each suite consists of a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
- Bathrooms are equipped with bath, shower, hand basin and toilet. Fresh bath
towels are provided daily with a soap, shower gel & shampoo. - Bedrooms are equipped with either double, queen or king size beds with full
compliment of linen,pillows & cushions plus headboards, side pedestals,lamps,
wardrobe, a desk and 2 seated Couch. - All suites equipped with air conditioning, TV with DSTV/Mnet,safes,
telephones, hairdryers, tea & coffee facilities with sachets, mini bar refrigerators
stocked with a variety of soft drinks - All suites fully serviced everyday.

- Dolphins - all year - usually school of 25 swim by south at +- 6am and return +-
8:30 in front of breakfast area.
- Whales - June to November - Humpback & Southern Wright whales seen in
greater numbers every year. Whales calf - October/November.
- The Greatest Shoal on Earth - from May to July great activity can be seen in
the ocean from the African Peninsula as shoals of sardines arrive.
- Vervet Monkeys , Mongoose, Fruit Bats, wide variety of bird life but
predominantly Hadeba Ibis,Tambourine Dove,Speckled Mousebird, Lessr
Striped Swallow, Yellowbilled Kite, Pruplecrested Lourie
